John Meteyard (B.Psych. [Hons.]; M.Psych. [Ed. & Dev.]; M.Couns.) is a registered psychologist, Educational and Developmental Psychology Registrar, and qualified counsellor who has more than 20 years experience providing psychological support, therapy, and assessment for children, young people, adults, couples, and families.
As well as working as a psychologist in private practice, John is also a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology in Brisbane. He is known for his relational and family-focussed approach to practice.
John will be accepting referrals to see clients, including those with Mental Health Care Plan referrals from their GPs, at his new practice location at Mt Gravatt from 3 February, 2018.
John’s areas of expertise include:

After a successful career working as a librarian in University libraries, Gillian retrained as a psychologist due to its focus on people and emphasis on supporting and assisting others. She has over 25 years experience as a psychologist working in diverse range of settings with a wide variety of clients. Gillian is known for her caring compassionate approach to working with adults. She specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma Informed Practice.
Gillian will be accepting referrals to see clients, including those with Mental Health Care Plan referrals from their GPs, at her new practice location at Mt Gravatt from 9 February, 2018.
